THE NURTURED MAMA COMMUNITY IS HERE!
Get prenatal and postpartum nutrition and body image education and support from the comfort of your own home.
The intention of The Nurtured Mama Community is to provide support and resources to mothers who want to move towards wellness while dealing with the food and body stuff that comes up during pregnancy and postpartum.
When moms say they feel uncomfortable in their bodies we typically get responses like, “I have a wrap for that!” or “Drink these shakes to lose the weight!” You won’t be getting that here. We understand that weight is a concern and we definitely want you to talk about it. However, our response won’t be one you’re used to and we hope you find that refreshing.
Now, when you have nutrition and body concerns, you have a safe place to go where you can get expert responses to you questions that center around body confidence, nourishing nutrition and intuitive eating. If you decide you need 1:1 help, we can set you up with discounted online nutrition counseling sessions or get you in touch with a dietitian in your area*.
Our free community is up and running and we plan to roll out plenty of addition support services as part of the program too. As a member of the community, you’ll find out about everything first!
*If you think you’re dealing with an eating disorder, we encourage you to seek care. We are well connected with ED RD’s across the US and can help you find someone in your area to provide you with proper treatment. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for help @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
Instead of googling for hours and finding a million answers to what seems like a simple question —
“I’m 8 weeks out and I’m starving! What do I do?!”
“I want to like my postpartum body, but that seems so unrealistic for me. Am I doing something wrong?”
“What do I need to consider before starting solids? Baby food? Homemade baby food?! Baby led weaning?! I’m going crosseyed trying to read all of the mom blogs out there! Help!”
